Today I attended the funeral of my Great Uncle. He was my wonderful Nan’s younger brother by 14 years and my Great Aunts twin. They now are the only surviving two of six children. Very sadly one of their other brothers only died 3 months ago. So today brought back many emotions which are still so very raw.

Week two of the summer holidays is over already. Where is the time going? It’s been a bit crazy here this week. I had to work three mornings this week but the babies came along with me. It just meant the days flew without us doing much together. I say we haven’t done much but looking over the week we have!

Miss 7 has just come running down the stairs with a big toothless grin and a little white tooth clenched firmly between her fingers! She was closely followed by Master 5 who preceded to inspect her mouth thoroughly! He can’t wait to loose a tooth but has no signs of it happening anytime soon. So he is grasping onto his big sisters excitement!

The babies have had a whole week off already in their 6 week summer holidays. We have had so much fun this week and just being with them has just made me extremely happy. Finally the tiredness from each of us is dispersing and the loving sibling relationships are returning in full force.
